For those of you who have followed me on my other blog http://tessonlinebiz.com/ , i just want to inform you that i decided not to continue paying for that domain, thus cancelling that account for now as it was created mainly to give tips on how to earn money online. Since, that blog has never been updated since September 2009 and not earning anymore moolah online, i thought i should go back to publishing it to its original hosting site - blogspot. Now, it is back to http://tessonlinebiz.blogspot.com/ . Please, update your link. I cannot promise but i will try to update it soon as possible as i am still maintaining another blog at bravejournal that also needs to be updated. My bad!

Beautiful islands in Zambales

I have been living in Zambales since 1975 and i have never seen these beautiful islands in Zambales until recently. One day before christmas, my brother Arnold offered to take us to Pundaquit resorts just to see the beach. So off we went... Later, Arnold suggested we take a boat ride to the islands. At first, i hesitated because we were not ready for it, i wasn't even wearing shorts and i was sure we were gonna get wet as we get on the boat. But anyway, we agreed to go. The boatmen took us to two islands (one was Gamara Island and the other island i dont't know the name) and the sights were just majestic. Everything around us was really beautiful - the water, the sand, the rocks, the pebbles, the mountains... I heard Anawangin cove is another island worth visiting. You can spend the night in these islands but there are no amenities there so you have to be prepared by bringing with you basic stuff for your needs. There are lodging inns around the resorts in Pundaquit so you can always come back to the resort if you don't want to spend the night in the islands. Next time i go home to Zambales, i wanna visit these islands again especially Anawangin cove.

Hello to Buffalo winter!

Fresh from the warm weather in the Philippines, i found the freezing winter in Buffalo, NY not a welcome treat for me. It was sooooo cold! As soon as i got out of the Buffalo airport, i had to run back inside as i could not take the cold, no kidding, lol! It's like starting all over again. I am already missing my family back home especially the kids. Am i ready to go back to work? Maybe not! But do i have a choice? I'm sure there are lots to do when i get back, so i better be ready for it! For now, i might just forget the warm Philippine weather and get used to the cold winter in Buffalo! Happy new year to everyone!

Christmas in Zambales...

Christmas was spent simply with family. My two kids were here while the other two were not able to join us here because they had other commitments in school that they needed to do in Manila. We had our day full today as we spent half of it joy riding towards north of Zambales. We saw the damage caused by the recent typhoons in the Philippines and it was really a depressing sight. I am also happy to see today one of my high school classmates who visited me and we had the chance to do some catching up even briefly. We are trying to enjoy our remaining days here as we are about to leave in few days.

Zambales ... here we come!

We left Manila on December 19th, a Saturday to spend christmas with my mother and my siblings with their families in Zambales. The bus trip to Zambales gave me some nostalgic feeling. It was nice seeing my family again after 5 years. We will be staying here until the 27th and head back to Manila before we leave back for the US.

First week in PI

We arrived safety here in the Philippines after a long and tiring trip. My kids picked us up in the airport and brought us straight to the condo. Our first week here in the Philippines was pretty much spent with my kids and some friends. I had a chance to meet up with friends at my former office and it was really great seeing them. They treated me to a sumptous dinner at Gilligan's in Market! Market! My former boss Rinzi also treated us to a chinese lunch, also in Market! Market the following day. I also met up with Laila and Maria in Greenbelt for a nice dinner. All of them gave me nice presents. I really thank them for that very generous gesture. That was so appreciated! Hubby and I are now into panic mode for our trip tomorrow. I guess it's gonna be a no-sleep night for us. We have to be at the airport by 4am and the weather is really bad. I hope they don't cancel the flight or else everything will be affected. I am now checking my "to bring" and "to do" lists to make sure nothing will be missed out.
