Short break from blogging....

I will be out of blogworld from Saturday until Monday as hubby and I will be leaving for PA on Saturday to attend my MIL's birthday and family reunion. Movie marathon

Since MIL spent the night with us, we got her some movies that we could watch. I picked mostly "wholesome" movies great for the whole family especially kids. So we watched 3, in fact, we just finished the the last one. We watched Duma, When I Find The Ocean, and Fly Away Home. They were not great but pretty good. It's good to watch kids movies for change sometimes.

Bills, bills and bills…… when are they gonna stop coming? Paying for bills seems endless, isn’t it? I guess that’s life! We work to live or live to work; however you look at it. Four worms and a lesson...

I remember my father when asked to quit smoking would always say he's not gonna quit because no one would come out in this life alive anyway. Then he would ask where we got the information that smoking is bad for the health. We say, we read about it from the books and he would snap back, "Then stop reading books!". Pretty stubborn, huh! He passed away at 65 which for me is an early age to die, isn't it? And he never stopped smoking until he died. Anyway, the joke below just reminded me of my dear father and about smoking. A minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.
Four worms were placed into four separate jars.
The first worm was put into a container of alcohol.
The second worm was put into a container of cigarette smoke.
The third worm was put into a container of chocolate syrup.
The fourth worm was put into a container of good clean soil.
At the conclusion of the sermon, the Minister reported the following results:
The first worm in alcohol - Dead.

The second worm in cigarette smoke - Dead Third worm in chocolate syrup - Dead Fourth worm in good clean soil - Alive.

So the Minister asked the congregation - What can you learn from this demonstration?

An 85-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of
his physical exam.

The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back
a semen sample tomorrow."

The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave
him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.

The doctor asked what happened.

The man explained, "Well, doc, it's like this--first I tried with my right
hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing.
"Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then with
her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth
in, then with her teeth out, still nothing.

"We even called up Arlene, the lady next door and she tried too, first with
both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezin' it between her
knees, but still nothing."

The doctor was shocked, "You asked your neighbor?"

The first thing that most people notice in me is my smile. I guess that is my best weapon to attract attention or interest from other people without really thinking about it. I love to smile, that’s me! It doesn’t cost you anything to smile but the effect is great. My friends would call me “the girl with a big smile”. Well, this is my “look”. How about you?

Husband won!

My husband told me today i have to congratulate him and i said "why?" Well, he said, he beats anorexia, lol! Isn't that funny? And I said, "yeah, and you did well!" Kidding aside, i just wanna share with you how hubby got that idea from, hoping to start your day laughing.

We were watching a movie around 10PM while I was sitting in front of my pc doing my usual stuff online. I felt so tired an sleepy I moved to the couch and dozed off to sleep.
