I guess that it was watching the movie Elf that really made me love Zooey Deschanel. First off, it's such a cute and adorable movie. And then that part at the end where she starts singing to help stir up Christmas spirit is just perfect! She's an amazing singer and actress too. I've kept up with her singing career with She & Him and am more than excited to find out that they're coming out with a Christmas album!
As soon as I heard that she was going to be starring in The New Girl, I looked online with my wireless Reading to find as much info about it as possible. I found lots of really good advance reviews and told myself that I would start watching it.
I kind of forgot how funny Zooey Deschanel can be. Her character Jess is just so cute and I can relate to her because I've been through a really awful breakup where it seems like your whole life is turned upside down. But it's good to see that she seems to be getting over her ex in the show. I'm excited for her to go on some awkward dates.
